This spacious family-friendly home sits on a beautifully landscaped lot just a few steps from the private beaches of Little Gasparilla. The home boasts nautical décor with an open floor plan that flows from the kitchen (new updated appliances) to the open dining and living rooms (which feature high ceilings and a large screen TV) overlooking the island foliage.  There are three dining options – kitchen bar, dining room or the fully screened front porch.  

Sleeping rooms are nestled in the back of the home for serene privacy.  The master bedroom is in its own section of the house which offer privacy with an en-suite bathroom with oversized vanity and shower, large king bed and spacious walk-in closet.   The other side of the house offers two more bedrooms and another bath.... each bedroom with queen beds. There is satellite TV in two of the three bedrooms.

The living and dining areas open to the screened front porch which spans the full width of the house featuring beach views and cooling breezes from the shore on a daily basis. It is the best place in the house to relax in the fresh air! 

This home also offers free wireless broadband wi-fi.... for staying in touch with the office if you must.  

Downstairs, a huge screened open-air deck offers a large outdoor living area, a comfortable hammock and 2 sitting areas for enjoying evening breezes. Its also a perfect for the kids to play, storing beach gear and sand toys or just relaxing.   The private sandy beaches of Little Gasparilla are just a short stroll to the west. Access to an easement dock (first come first serve) is on the bayside of the island. 

Rents from $350/night or $2,450/week, 3 night minimum

Please be aware that we can not permit guests to check in or check out the same day another guest will be occupying the property. We require at least 24 hours of vacancy between each guest.

  • WiFi - broadband wi-fi included. Speeds adequate for web-browsing, emails, social media, but probably not for games or streaming.

  • Pet Policy - pet-friendly with $100 non-refundable fee per pet. The following breeds are NOT permitted: Akita, American Bull Dog, Beaucerons, Caucasian Mountain Dog, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinchers, German Shepherds, Great Danes, Keeshounds, Pit Bull, Staffordshire Terriers, Presa Canarios or Rottweilers.

  • Cleaning Fee - minimum $325 cleaning fee

  • Vacation Rental Damage Protection - $59 fee for “all risk” damage protection through Waivo.

  • Minimum Renter Age - 25

  • Easement Dock - dock 82 -first come first serve, no boats greater than 24 feet (boat + motor)

  • Complimentary Concierge- will meet you at the dock with a golf cart to assist with transporting your luggage and groceries to the home

  • Satellite TV - yes

  • Grill Type - propane

  • Coffee maker - Drip (filters provided)

  • Parking - $8/night ($10/night if you have a boat trailer) at Eldred's Marina where you meet the boat taxi

  • Holiday surcharges- applied for reservations for Independence Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day,Thanksgiving, and Christmas/New Years timeframes. PLEASE NOTE THAT MINIMUM NIGHTLY STAYS MAY BE INCREASED FOR THESE DATES AS WELL.

  • Early check-in/Late check-out -Check in is 4pm, Check out is 10 am. Early check in or Late check out may be available for an extra charge. Ask the booking manager for details.

Almost Heaven was just that! Heavenly! This was mine and my husbands third time to the island in a year, and this time we brought our kids! The house had everything that you could need. Beds were so comfortable, and there was privacy as well as so many spaces to relax as a family, including downstairs in the screened in porch and upstairs on the screened in porch. I would definitely book Almost Heaven again… LGI is so laid back and remains one of our very favorite places! If it’s your first time, do a little research and go prepared to love it! -Karen B.

Very comfortable house. We stayed here with our son. The house had everything we needed and a very big living room. I loved the wrap around deck with ample sitting places and all the boogie boards and beach stuff downstairs with the hammock room. Will definitely visit again! One small issue was the washer and dryers are a lot of noise when in operation so we only used them once. - Kate P.
